Employment Opportunities

The Blue Ridge Fire District is a combination department utilizing Career, Reserve (Part-Time) and Volunteer staff. We operate from a single station with normal staffing of 3 Career or Reserve personnel 24/7/365 and supplemented by Volunteer personnel. We provide All-Hazards response including ALS transport.

  • The following minimum requirements apply to Full Time and Reserve Firefighter applicants:
  • Arizona FFII or NFPA FF II or accepted equivalent.
  • State of Arizona EMT certification, Paramedic preferred.
  • Wildland Firefighter training at the S130/S190 level.
  • Maintain a current Wildland Red Card.
  • Current State of Arizona Driver License.
